Does anyone know the measurements for decal placement on 1987 13' Whaler?

I just had my boat re-finished and I forgot to measure before they sanded them off....

IE: how many inches from transom, chine and gunnel?

These are the smaller decals not the bigger ones.

Thanks,

AJ

HOLD THE PHONE ! Would you like a pic of the decal on my 15' sport ? It's the same as the 13' (small decal).

MW,

That would be great. A visual referance would make a HUGE difference in placement.

I still have not put them on. I'm waiting for the AwlGrip to get nice and hard before I try it.

Send me a PM and I will send my e-mail address to you!

Thanks!

Hi,

SURE ! YOU GOT IT, DONE ! I'll forward my E-mail to you,

Decal Trick : When I did the Decal/ Lettering on the Raised hood of my Mustang, I nearly lost my mind trying to get the letters straight "5.0 Cowl induction". I was shown a trick. Take a spray bottle filled with 1 tbsp of "Dawn" dish soap, and the rest fill with water. Spray the area that the decal is to be applied, as well as your fingers, hands and the adhesive back of the decal (SOAK 'EM ALL). Carefully place on the decal and spray (soak) area again, step"WAY" back and look, Not straight ? no biggie, the soap & water has'nt dried yet, so you can re-adjust the decal (keep those fingers wet). Once you have it straight, just let dry naturally. The next day it's "SET" ! Now don't freak out if one decal is slightly off from the other decal, on a boat, (just like the pinstriping/ lettering on a car) you can only look at 1 side at a time, "Ya can't see both sides at once" so nobody will notice. It's gonna look GREAT ! I always wanted to do a nice small piece of "Whale" art on the side of the boat, but she looks so clean and classy with a white hull, blue bottom paint, and the red "BW" decal. I can't do any more because, that would be that extra brush stroke that kills the beautiful art work that BW did designing the boat. On cars and boat, sometimes "LESS IS MORE"

Looks great!

Nevermind........

It was kind of a pain getting them off (the transfer paper). But, it looks factory!
