Poll question.....
If you were presented with 2 motors, and you had to chose one. which would it be and why?
Let's assume it was for a 64 nauset :)
New 90 hp Mercury Optimax or New 90 hp Mercury 4 Stroke?

The optimax is lighter and provides you with a much better power and torque curve output. Hands down my choice and it should be cheaper.

I opted for the Nissan with the same technology as the Optimax and don't regret it at all. Proven 2 stroke performance, longivity, and reliability that runs great, sips gas.

Definitely the Optimax due to weight savings. They have been getting a lot of positive reviews on the boards from members who are in the industry and service them.
As it is with all re-power choices, what brand has better service in your area. That can be a big decision point.
