I am just getting ready to aquire my first Whaler. THe hull number is BWC?80610683, which from what I have read on this site is a 1983 13' model. It has the side console, all the wood and a non-running Yamaha 40.
Is there any way to tell from the hull number what the model was. I think it is a Sport but don't know enough yet to tell.
It is in pretty good shape but has some glass damage on the front port bow at the rub rail. I am sure I will find the help repairing that on this great website.

I just got my first whaler also. Man these boat rock. From what i have found is the boats interier make the modle ex sport, sourpass and what ever else is out there. This web site is the bomb. You will find help from all over. Wish could be more help. Good luck and Stay Whaler.

Doug,
In the upper left of the page you will find "navigation". Under articles you will find hull id numbers. That should give you what you want.
