The T-top on my 1999 23' Conquest is becoming a problem. The legs have been cracked and rewelded, now they'tre cracking again and the bases are loose. I'm going to tighten them, but I notice in newer Conquests there is additional bracing at the front under the windshield. Can I get mine braced? There are lots of aluminum fabricators here in Western Australia. What grade of aluminum is it? Will the cabin top support it? Thanks, Rusty

My buddy is having his top repaired, several welds failed (Grady White 27). He is taking it to a local welder. Its a $500 repair here. You may want to take some photos of the new Conquest Whaler top to show them. I would suspect any reputable welding shop in your area would be fine. Look for one that specializes in Marine tops, they should know exactly what to do once they see the problem areas. Good luck.
