I recently disassembled my 1983 13 Sport for restoration. Under both of the thwart seats there were 2 metal hooks mounted, one near each end. They appear to be OEM. Can someone tell me what they are for?
Thanks,
Kevin

I wouldn`t think they were OEM. Probably only the past owner would know what they were used for.

Had those hooks also on my 13 sport...both of the seats and the backrest.
They are used to secure the sunbrella / foam seat cushions! The cushion is laced in place (I used bungee) and then the outside lace is looped over the hook to keep them flat and pulled outboard. The cushions are great except when wet...terminal boat butt until they dry out!

Ah Ha! Thanks blake, that's exactly what they are for. I thought they looked like they had been there from day one.
