Hey Guys!

Has anyone tried a 75 Hp E-Tec on a 15' Whaler?

I personally would not put a heavy engine on that model.
Several members have the E-Tec 60 hp which weighs 80 pounds less than the 75 hp.

Also take a look at a few members personal pages.

I see that Joe referenced my boat. :) As you can see, I have the 60 ETEC on mine and I honestly cannot imagine how a larger motor could make it perform any better than it does now. It pops out of the water like a slingshot. I can run in the mid 30's without going WOT and will knock on the door of 40 at WOT. Sips gas and is very quiet. I think the weight is a perfect match by the way it sits in the water B) Don't think you would see that much difference in the hight HP.

Hey Guys have they worked out the glitches on the 60 Etec. I searched the old threads and came across one with some disturbing info on the 60 Etec's.
