Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Front console seat for Eastport/Nauset

Hi All,

I've just finished the pilot seat and rear seat for my 1968 Eastport and am starting on the console. My boat never had the forward console jump seat and I'd like to fabricate one.

Does anyone have drawings/plans for the forward console jump seat on the classic Nausets or Eastports?

The console plans that I have been able to get make mention to the seat, but there are no drawings or dimensions. I believe that it calls out for the seat to be built and installed separately. I can probably figure it out based on scale of the console but thought I would check with site members.

Any information would be appreciated.

Regards

BW used to have a link on their web site that had all the wood spec, but I can no longer find it (even looked thru some of the archives). Maybe contact these guys - Cedar Lake Manufacturing - http://www.geocities.com/m_breuer/. Their web site shows some beautiful work

If you download the console plans from WC the first page shows the forward jump seat. It should give you an idea of what you need to make.

Thanks to everyone for the responses.

Kamie, that's probably the way I'll go. I have the console plans from the site and am building one now. The jump seat shouldn't be too hard to "guesstimate".

Southshore Whaler, that's it all right. Good luck in your restoration.

JollyRog 305, Cedar Lakes is a good website and I sent out a request for plans as well as a price on a windshield.

Thanks for all the help and I'll post some photos of my progress soon.
