Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: turning Montauk upside down

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can flip my Montauk over to work on the underside?

Remove the railings, console, lights, engine, ect. I slid my off the trailer onto the lawn to prevent damage. 4 of us flipped it over then picked it up and put it back on the trailer.

DelawareDan has a nice pictorial of the event he did on his. I think it is mostly solo for him.

if you go to the link above, note that it has two pages, and the pics are in reverse chronological order, so you should start at the bottom of page 2, and work backwards to see the process as I did it
