I've been calling for 3 weeks now, left 4 voice mails. Nobody picks up or returns calls. Looks like I'm getting a Moeller tank

Fastfjr,
Seems I read a thread here a while back that Pate had closed up shop. I like my Moeller tank except for the guage. It sinks.

Well that sucks, They had the best and only looking fiberglass tank. I guess the ethanol world caught up to them. My local BW dealer said he saw some of their newer tanks fail

I had an old red Pate tank( 1986 model), just stop using last year, bottom was getting soft. I was unsure of how long it would last, so I bought a Tempo tank. I really liked the Pate, too bad they can not make one that people can trust.

Looks bad. I just called them and got a message that they are shut down for four to six weeks and all manufacturing has stopped. They say to call back then to see if they have reopened.

Sounds like at or near Chapt. 11 to me. Hopefully they'll find some financing and start it up again but, in this economy, that's not looking too good.

Bummer.

It would be a waste for them to reopen if they have not figured out the ethanol issue. I'm sure that has not helped their sales.
