i recently emailed bw on their website to see if i could get a new seat fo my montauk.i was surprised to learn that a new seat would run around $2000 :o (for a seat?). so i have decided to build my own. i recently finished building the leggs they are preped and ready for paint but i cannot decide wether to go with the stock brown color or to paint them white. normaly i wouldnt care about the matching and whatnot but the boat has the blue interior and i dont think that the brown would look good against it the boat doesnt have any wood so white would not be out of place. i also need the dimentions for the plywood that the cusion skrews to on if anyone can provide that.

I would order a seat from Halls. At 240.00 it's a good deal. That way you get OEM seat to top off the nice legs.
