All, found another site (thanks to an older Jeff thread) 2coolclassified.com which apparently is unique to Texas. Even more unique is the owner is another Duf (actually Duffy) which is more uncommon this neck of the woods. Here's his advertisement.......

22' boston whaler outrage 1987,200 yamaha, large console, bimini top , puplit, swim platform, depth finder, gps, radio. hin very good condition, motor has not been run in three years, sportmans trailer, garage kept .

I asked him to send some pictures, and told him about WC. Hopefully he will come on-line as it sounds like a pretty decent 22 outrage with some nice options. :p

I plan on driving up there this weekend and taking my own photo's, but if any of the Houston guys want to take up the task let me know and save me a 4 hour trip as he's in Wallis Texas, which is just outside Houston.

Will do Doug. If all works out, plan on driving up (about a 4 hour drive) on monday to check out his 22. Even though i'm not interested in a mirror of my boat, i just really enjoy looking at them!: p

I have a hard time giving up the hunt even though I found one I'm happy with. :)

I agree arthureld. If i drive by one, i have to stop and check it out, and most likely Monday, i will drive up to Houston and look her over. You have to admit, anything thats been garaged 3 years, and according to the owner, was babied by its previous owner, you have to go look at. Also, it has a bow pulpit, which i have yet to see in person, mounting etc. So it will be enjoyable, and educational.

I do the same thing- I just like looking at 'em. I do most of my looking on this computer though. The computer gets a lot better fuel economy than my truck.

A few months ago, Jeff PM'ed me about a 25 Outrage on craigslist in Idaho for a ridiculously low price. My brother in law and I were just THIS CLOSE to trying to go get it. He called and it was gone already. It probably would have taken two trips to finish the deal.
