DHL seems to have pretty good rates... I bought a 15Hp outboard from a friend in Florida and he shipped it up using DHL - the rates were much more reasonable than UPS.

I have used
Greyhound express for shipping complete mills foul weather enclosure system for a 22 Outrage Cuddy and a Bimini top for a 22 Outrage with great success. The Mills system was $125 from Seattle to Detroit and the Bimini was $59 from Detroit to Atlanta. You just have to find a bus depot that offers Grey Hound Shipping and drop it off there and you will have to find another depot to ship it to for pick up.
I HIGHLY recommend paying the extra for priority shipping. It could mean the difference between a couple days for shipping or four weeks. Without priority it will go from depot to depot and if there is not room for it on a bus at an exchange it will sit at that depot till a bus opens up.
Their prices have always been the best by far.

I think you may have a tough time w/ those dimensions using fedex or UPS ground.
You may want to try their freight divisions.

You can also try roadway or wilson trucking. Both do a good job.

"Yellow freight" probably has the best prices for shipping, I use "UPS" because, of free tracking and insurance, "UPS" can ship anything, anywhere in the world, at any time. UPS also has "BEST FLIGHT", your package is Guaranteed delivered anywhere in the continental U.S. in 4-6 hours, no other company can touch that.
