Joe,
I am fairly new to BC and might have missed some general topic discussions but "hours of what per season" do you want to know. Engine hours, boating hours, fishing hours, sitting on the boat hours. I spend many hours each week fishing, but I am a drift and anchor fisherman and don't put many hours on my engines per year. I have a friend who is a troller and keeps his engine running the entire time he is on the water. He fishes one quarter the time I do but has four times the engine hours.

I responded, assuming engine hours, which are verifiable. "time in the boat" is much higher (as I sleep aboard often)...but nearly impossible to estimate with repeatable accuracy between individuals.

All good points...

I will try and narrow this down to motoring....... Motor on....

I troll many, many hours with my kicker which does not have an hour meter. I put more hours on my trolling motor that I do my main engine. I'm sure some people don't have hours meters on their main engine so some of the totals are going to have to be estimated.

I probably put 80 or 90 hours on my kicker and 30 to 40 on my main engine...
However, I wouldn't say I do this each and every year..
So, I put down my average for the last 5 or 6 years at 91-120 per season motoring.
Some years I may go over that and some years less....
