Hello,
I am new to the site. It is very nice,and has lots of great info. I just picked up a "whaler", but it has been rebuilt, and there is no longer any identifying markings. It It has a light blue deck, with fiberglass benches and console??
It also seems to have a metal plate that starts about 10in from the stern of the boat and wraps around the transom, and to the opposite side. Is this a whaler, or a knockoff. Any ides would be helpful.

I'm no expert, but you have come to the right place. Post some photos of your boat and I'm sure someone here can give you some insights.

It sound like "not" unless some modifications were made. The hull design is very distictive. Look at the photos on this site. What year model?
