Looking for website to purchase front back rest cushion which go infront of rod holders on front of console. Also, canvas cover for helm bench seat. Does anyone know what size cooler goes on this boat. And last looking for advise on fuel tank options under bench seat. Thanks,Joe.

Joe

Look at our vendors for all your needs. Vendor page

Halls will be the supplier for cushions

Mills is the OEM source for the RPS canvas cover

The cooler is a 94 quart Igloo and Halls makes the seat cushion

Pate will be your best bet for a under RPS fuel tank.

Many people like the single Pate 24 or 27 gallon.

I prefer two 12 gallon tanks like were originally installed in Classic Montauks.. Here's why..

1. If you leave the dock with 2 full tanks, when one runs empty, you generally have enough fuel to make it home.

2. If you drain one tank dry, it is easier to add the correct amount of oil if you premix your fuel.
If you have a single tank, it is harder to get the exact amount of oil. You can get it close, but not as accurate as adding oil to just a single 12 gallon tank...

3. If one tank develops some kind of problem, like fuel pickup, etc., then you can switch to the other tank and make it home...

Tempo used to make the 12 gallon replacement tanks but they apparently have stopped making them. Moeller still makes them however.

the 94 quart cooler can be picked up at West Marine, they have the cushions there as well. Probably at boaters world too.

for a tank check out the moeller 26 gallon on my personal page (link to the left) - though i really like the idea of 2 twelvers that is posted above - i still pre-mix 50:1 and 2 twelvers would make that easier to manage. the moeller was from cabela's for about $150 delivered.

All the advice is spot on, and I have one personal comment regarding the cooler cushion.

The West Marine cooler cushion is absolute cr^p. Thin, poorly made, stark white and totally overpriced.
Halls makes excellent cushions that will fit, match even older OEM ones and last 20 years or more.

Just my opinion.

I second advice on the cooler cushion. I have a 162qt cooler on my Outrage and the cushion from Igloo can't stand the wind. It's only held on my 4 little straps that after 2 years have torn off. Halls makes a much more substantial cushion with real vinyl to hold it on and resist the wind. cruising at 25 mph puts a lot of force on that cushion, especially if you don't have the forward shelter up to block the wind.

I will have Halls make me a new one probably this winter.
