Is there a neat solution to connect a ski rope other than the D rings. My son scuff up my new Yamaha outboard by pulling his friends around on a tube, taking tight turns. Turbo Swing makes a bar that mounts to the same bolts used to secure the motor to the transom. My concern is the integrity of the transom with a 4 stroke 90 on there that probably outweighs the original 2 stroke by 100lbs. I’ve imagined a half circle steel bar that connect to the D rings with a radius that goes beyond the motor. There would be a floating steel loop that slides along the bar and attaches to the bar. Ideas?

I would go with the Turbo Swing.
Never read of a structural failure in 20 years.
