I'm in the process of fixing up my newly acquired Outrage 18 and, while inspecting the front well, I noticed a 1" hole situated on the upper right hand which is covered with a white plastic cover. I hadn't noticed this hole before. The plastic cover was obviously glued in place as I had to break it to see what was behind it. When I poked around, I noticed a rope of some sort probably used to fish something through (wire, cable).
Anyone know what this hole is used for and if it was there originally?
Thanks,
Mike

Given the fact that I didn't receive a response to my post, I am going to assume that the hole was not present when the boat was new and was added by the previous owner to fish something (wire) through the back wall of the front locker from underneath the deck. I will just cap it again and forget about it.

Monsoon,
The hole was for running a wire from the console to the front locker to run a bilge pump.
The rope is a pull rope to pull the wire(s) through...
