I have a damaged port side oar socket. The bronze socket itself is slightly bent and I am sure that is an easy fix, however the socket accommodation in the gunwale has been cracked and the screw holes stripped. I am looking for repair options to consider beside my own thoughts before the project begins. Any thoughts and experiences welcome.
