I guess it never fails. Now that I finally have my Whaler, I'm thinking about a a larger boat to handle bigger water. It's a disease, I know it!

Given the type of boating we do, we're looking for a cruising boat that allows us to venture out into the Chesapeake enough to explore other Rivers. The Ventura seems to be a good all around boat with the bowrider type of configuration and the adequate fishing set-up.

Most likely we'll start with a nice used (1998-2003) and decide if it is a good fit.

Any Ventura owners out there that would like to share the good, bad, and ugly about this model?

BTW - We plan to keep the Sport!
