I'm in the process of picking up this 1972 13' Whaler but I do not know what this model is called. Sport? I'm new to Whalers but for $500 for a boat, motor and trailer it seemed like a decent deal. If anyone can tell by looking at my pics at my photo bucket please let me know. THNXXX

Thnx... the trailer is shot but the motor runs and the boat is sound except for some wood that needs to be replaced. The rest is cosmetic.B)

That is one sweet whaler for $500. Good for you!
It looks like a Sport set-up - can't tell whether the helm is just painted or a retrofit. Is the helm mahogany? Otherwise, it seems to be a Standard with a Sport reftrofit.
No matter what configuration, she is a beauty.

Danny you may be correct about it being a standard model with a Sport Helm the guy that turned me on to the boat said he helped install the helm a few years back. Thnx for the headup:D
