HI Whaler Universe ! I recently bought my second whaler. a 2013 210 Montauk. Had to upgrade from my 1994 17' Montauk that I owned for 22 years. great boat. Anyway, my 210 Montauk does not have bow rails, so I am looking for some. I also want to get a tow bar. My local dealer just informed me today that Boston Whaler is no longer supplying parts, so I am looking to secondary markets. Anybody know where I can fine these ??

Tim -

Did the dealer explain that the railing on the 2013 Montauk 210 is different than the current Montauk 210 that was refreshed/updated in 2019?

Given the list prices for options and for shipping the rail in one piece from Florida to you, consider going in a different way. Take some photos from a Montauk 170, 190 and 210 to a local marine fabricator and have them make you a rail.

It would cost less than 1/2 the price of the original, if one was still available.

See these drawings for the 2013 model year from Whaler.

If you you intending to pull a skier or tube this is a well regarded option.

Phil,

I have done some looking around and found a local fabricator that comes highly reccommended, and experienced with exactly what I am looking for. The information you sent to me was very helpful, so thank you very much.

Regards,
Tim

Phil,, ( or anyone else I gues)

Now I am looking for the dimensions of the bow rail. specifically the height above the gunnel where they attach. I have read somewhere there are two options, but since I am having this fabricated, I guess I can have them any height I wish. Wondering what was standard from factory.

Don't suppose your local Whaler dealer has a display model you can measure.
