looking for plans and/or good photos of the mahogany center console for this boat. Previous owner took it out and trew it away.

The Montauk was not made until 1973...

Take a look at the models in the above link.
You most likely have a Nauset, Sakonnet, or Eastport model.
If so, you can find the plans for the console in the downloads section.
There are many photos of this console in members Personal Pages.
Here is one members restoration and rebuild of the console using the plans on our site.

Cedar Lake Manufacturing Reproduces the Console you are looking for. It was used on the Nauset, Eastport, Sakkonet. Members here have had them manufacture parts for them and have been very happy with the products however, they do take time to produce.
