I would like to get a helm pad for my 2019 Montauk 170. I have looked around and don’t care for a basic black rubber mat.
Anyone have opinions on the Boston Whaler mat from SeaDeck? Do all of them have adhesive back, and it that a “permanent” installation, or does the adhesive just to keep it from sliding, but can be peeled back for cleaning?
I had a rubber mat that is for a standing work station that I thought would be great, but it slides not he deck.
Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am not a fan of installing anything that requires an adhesive on non-skid. While it may look nice for a few years, it will start to stain, degrade.
Not cheap.
I prefer Dri-Dek. See my personal page.
Just 1 opinion.

I have had the seadek Boston whaler pad on my montauk for a few years now. I like it. Looks good and has held up well.
