Hello All.

I am working on my 1986 Boston Whaler Outrage 18 project, and like so many Outrage models I have seen out there, they are missing the gunnal covers that go over the central fuel tank lines. Does anyone know a source where to find these? The image shows where the cover goes. There is one to port and starboard.

Thanks.

The side panels are on both sides of the hull. They are made out of plastic sheet called Kydex.

They are not available and will need to be made, DIY.

They will need to be bent to shape.

One of many sources:

Thank you. Interesting that it is made out of Kydex. I expected it to be a fiberglass piece. I will give it a shot to form my own piece. I was hoping there would be a fellow outrage owner in the Tampa area that I could most my piece off of.

Check your local marinas. Leave a note on an Outrage 18 boat with contact information.

Include this link as proof this is a valid inquiry.

Good idea. I am also keeping my eyes open for listings in the area of if anyone else posts any project boats in Tampa that have the same parts. Much appreciated.
