Has anyone read this book? Is it any good?
I am looking for a copy to purchase and also intrigued on his trip. Would love to take a long trip, maybe not the entire loop, someday on my 170.
Feel free to tell me I am crazy but I kind of compare it to taking a long trip on a motorcycle.

So, I have ordered the book, and should get it next week. I read some reviews, from when it first came out around 7 years ago, and it sounds very interesting. I am looking forward to reading it.
I will be happy to do a Book Report on this, providing nobody on the site is a current or retired English teacher.

There's a similar video series on youtube; 3DSAILOR. He runs his 17' with 70 Yamaha four stroke from NE US to Key West.

Reelescape1 - I have seen most of his videos, and they are interesting. Kind of what got me started thinking about taking a long trip myself.

The book was enjoyable and easy to read. Learned some geography about the East Coast and the North East.
I would recommend the book.
It also reminded me of when I was 18, and me and five of my friends drove from Dayton Ohio, up and around in Canada, going as far north as Lake Nipigon. Six of us in my 1971 Chevy pickup with a camper shell on the back and two canoes. One of which we had to sell because needed money for gas, food and beer.
