Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Short section of Rub Rail Base or track?

Hi there,
I am looking for a short section, approximately ~2.5 ft, of rub rail base/track of the pictured style. I am wondering if anyone has a short section lying around I could buy from them as I don't need a whole new rub rail. I would like to just replace the port side transom section. The black rub rail insert is still in tact.
I hope the photo link will work!
Thanks in advance,
Alex

Wecome to the club. The few, the proud. We might not be as popular as the Outrage 18 but we have pluck!

Thanks, Phil. I have been enjoying working on the Outrage.
Well, Sue Lodel has access to the original rub rail assembly, but only in full 27' lengths, of which I'd need 2 for my 1992 Outrage 17 I- if Iwere redo it all.
Anyone out there have any left over from a restoration? I only need 2.5' and it's quite costly for a 27' for my year of Whaler.
Thanks,
Alex

I have what you need, but it in my place in Florida, and I won't be returning until November.
If you can wait, I can get it to you when I return for the winter months.
