Hey all-

My overhaul of the Ventura is coming along.

The Windshield folds in place and when secured, has two black composite "keepers" that pivot to lock the windshield closed and to keep it from rattling.
Does anyone have a good source for these? The windshield supports are also corroded. I am surprised there isn't an easy online resource for things like pumps (Also need replacing but the boat is wrapped up and I can't access them now).

Thanks!

The engineering diagrams on BostonWhaler.com only show the entire windshield assembly (marked #46,47) and not the latch detail.

First step would be to contact the Parts Department at Nauset Marine up in Massachusetts. They have a very good parts department. They can look it up and see if it is available.

Give them a call/email.

Let us know the results.

Archie-
That looks like it and no response yet from Nauset (I sent an email late friday and it is only Monda) I will order these and see what else I can find just in case.

Thanks so much!

Please Update your Ventura 'Overhaul' and any tricks you may have learned? I am also a new owner (Aug 2021)of a 2001 Ventura 21. I discovered the Windshield is Taylor Made on these boats. BW support helped me when I was researching a Replacement screen for a Ventura that I ended up NOT buying. Hope you found your Parts!
I will begin my full overhaul of my 2001 Ventura 21 in September.

I have yet to get the correct windshield hardware or bimini clips from BW. Happy to chat about what I did and did not do on my boat.
