It was a sad day yesterday, took the boat out on the last trip of the year before pulling her out for the season.
It has been a tradition for many years to wait until Veterans Day and take the last trip with my two older brothers. Unfortunately they were not available, I have a busy work week and the weather was just too nice yesterday, so the decision was made to end it a few days early.
The weather was in the low 70s and the ocean was perfectly flat. Couldn't have been a nicer day for November boating in New England. We took a leisurely cruise around Salem Sound, bombed out to Misery Island and back before pulling it out. The Revenge is sitting in the back corner of my property waiting for a thorough cleaning and to get covered.
Hope you all had a good season and that you southern boys & girls continue to enjoy boating in 2020.
