Wow....
From the new survey, we can see that there are more members here that have the 16' and 17' models than any of the other sizes.

I would have thought that the 13' and 15' models would have been predominant.
The survey is still early so we will see if anything changes as the survey continues.

What size Whaler do you own?
A. 9-15
B. 16-17
C. 18-20
D. 21-25
E. 26+

10 days into the Survey/Poll, it looks like the most popular or owned model is the 16' / 17' model.

This would include all the early 16' models like the Tashmoo, Bass Boat, Currituck, etc., on up to the the Montauk 17' and the newer 170 Montauks. This category also includes all of the 1990-1995 Outrage 17' I models and the 1996-1999 Outrage 17' II models.

I would have thought there were more 9-15' model owners as the 13' and 15' models are very popular.

Joe,

I have owned the 13, 15, 17 (16-7) before I bought the 22. The survey question is worded in such a way that I have to exclude those boats.

I wonder how the survey would change if the question was worded in such a way where one would include all the Whalers one has owned?

The way the survey is coded, you only have one choice.
So multiple boats or votes would not work...

Even with multiple choice answers, you only get one choice for an answer...

One vote per member and then you no longer have the option to vote.

Another poll might be:
How many Whalers have you owned?
1. One
2. Two
3. Ten
4. Many :p

I would have thought the 9-15 range would have been ahead as well.... shows what I know? - I like your next question idea too Joe.... I would be curious to how everyone stacks up. I have owned 4 Whalers - and countless others.

The Poll for November let us know that the majority of people here that voted have the 16/17' model Whaler.

It seems from our survey that the 16/17' model is the most popular size.
