So i put my 2008 240 Outrage in the water this morning and could not get the RPMs over 1000 rpm in gear. With Throttle only, the engines rev up normally. I tried pushing the Trolling Button on and off but no change. I had Normal Oil Pressure and Temperature readings.
VesselView indicates that the boat would not go into trolling mode if the button was pressed at the first indent for the gear to engage.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Nothing I see in the VesselView provides insight. The boat has twin 150 Mercury Verados.

Any help would be appreciated.
