Doe anyone know whether Boston Whaler ever made an optional front casting platform for the early Montauks, like the front platform in the Sakonnet? I thought I had seen a picture of an optional front casting platform somewhere, but now I can't find any reference to it, and I'm wondering if I atually did see one.

Thanks for any help.

Yes..... They were fiberglass with teak lockers on each side and one in the center.
The sides of the platform wrapped around the center console.

You need to watch out for the years as one model was for the smirkless hulls and the later models were for the smirked hulls....

I just added a photo of the early front platform for Montauks 1973 to 1975 with smirkless hulls.
