Anybody have pictures or tips on how to fasten an ulterra mini Kota
To the bow. I am assuming you need lag bolts S/S and 5200.

Page 2-21 of the Owners manual shows the area on the port side of the bow where backing material is installed for attaching a trolling motor. If you don't have a manual, you can download it from the Boston Whaler Owners Resource page

As for installation, you have four choices.
Add a mounting bracket
- that allows the trolling unit to slide under the rail.
- Add a hinge to the rail that swings open.
- cut the rail between stanchions
- remove the bow rail completely.
Most installations of the motor bracket involve through bolting the front portion of the bracket through the lip of the bow and installing two lag screws into the backing material. Use a good marine sealant (Boat Life or Sikaflex) and
not and
adhesive like 4200/5200.

220 Dauntless was not equipped with Troll motor
Plug in will I be able to install one?
I have purchased the BW plug in just wondering if
I will be able to run wire from console to bow?
