Hi there.

This my first post on the forum after buying a used 2010 Outrage 190. Been reading through the forum the past week and joined tonight. Hopefully I can contribute effectively when I get to grips with the new boat.

Been having some issues with the 150 verado (RPM at WOT) and thanks to this forum and verado club i think i’ve narrowed down the problem. It is currently in the shop getting some work done which will hopefully solve the problem.

Since removing from the water I’ve read useful information elsewhere on “propping correctly” covering the prop and mounting height of engine. Unfortunately I’m unable to do a test with it being out the water and would like to determine if the height is correct so this can be rectified when at the shop.

Would anyone be able to send a photo / details of their verado 150 mounting height on their outrage 190 please?

Thanks in advance.

Paul

I would go with the factory supplied prop, Mercury Enertia 14.25” x 18”. As for mounting position, factory height is 1 hole up for this prop.

Thanks very much Phil.

Its the Mercury Enertia 14.25” x 18” thats installed and the mounting height appear ok based on the info.

Hopefully the plethora of items being replaced in the engine will resolve the RPM issue.

Thanks again.
