Hi Folks,
I've enjoyed the threads on 18" Guardians with 70 hp twin engine configurations but I can't find mentions of shaft length. One consideration with mine is I have the dive door port and aft and I'm a little concerned about having the dive rail open in a swell with the weight. Looking for some good advise, and personal experience.

Thanks, Lionel

See this info on our site
http://www.whalercentral.com/userphot...album_id=2

20 inch shaft length for dual motors and most of those brands do not have counter rotating in that shaft length.

Joe your site has been a wealth of knowledge.
I saw that you had 1987 70 hp Evinrude motors on that 1986 Outrage 18.
I respect your opinion, are you opposed to the previous generation Evinrude 70 hp and are parts a big issue for either ?
Thanks Lionel
P.S. Does the Dive door on my 1989 Guardian 18' make it a dive master ?
