Great Tip of The Day by Joe regarding the Montauks. He mentions two complete different models for the 170 and the 17.
I like to add that there are now actually three different models for the same size Montauks
we have the original Montauk
17 up to 2001
The newer generation Montauk
170 after 2001 ans
now the newest Montauk 170 after 2018 which I like to call Montauk
170-II
All three boats are similar but different.
Therefore I like to use the Roman numeral II for all the 2018 and later Montauks, might it be a 15ft, 17ft, 19ft, or 21ft model.

EJO, you are forgetting the original Montauk 17, which was on the un-smirked hull.
