I'm dieing for feedback about the Rebel props. I've searched quite a bit, but don't find many opinions about them.
I'm kind of hesitant to lay down $500 for a prop before hearing what people have to say.
But I've been digging for info about Rebel props for couple months and haven't found much.

Anyone with a Rebel, share your experience please.

I'm thinking of putting a 15 1/2 X 17 Rebel on my Outrage 20 w/ 175hp E-tec. I wouldn't be surprised if that motor could push the 15 1/2 X 19 either.

Can't help you on the Rebel.

It would be much better if you could borrow props from your dealer like the used one he started you with. Have you asked your dealer if he has any other loaner props like the Rebel?

It is a bummer to lay out $500 only to find that prop does not work out for you.... Ouch....

Many good prop shops have loaners before you buy... I would go that route even if their props are a little more expensive...

Actually Joe, the dealer is going to refund my money if I don't decide on one of their props. They will let me try a couple other props too.

I'm just surprised that there isn't more info about Rebel props around. The are specially made for E-tecs.

I went to the dealer today and borrowed a brand new 15 1/2 X 17 Rebel. B) I'll report my findings when I get around to trying it.

Well, I went out this afternoon and the top speed was about 45.5 @ 5700 rpm.
It was more windy than my other prop tests, so I imagine I would probably get 46 or 47 mph and 5800 rpm if I didn't have such a side wind.

I think this prop stays on plane at a slower speed than the other 2. I could stay on plane at 2500 rpm going 18 mph

Since it is made for my motor and seems to perform as well on the top end and better at the midrange than the other 2 I tried, I think I might keep it. $500 is kind of steep, but that shiny new prop sure looks pretty. B)
