Hi all, new to the forum, well posting anyway, have done alot of reading on here. We have a 1986 Super Sport 13 with a 1992 Johnson 2 cylinder motor. Wanting to get a stainless prop for it. Can anyone recommend a prop size for it? Want one that would be good for speed.

Would start with
12.25" x 15" SST Part # 390850
-or
Solas Saturn SS 12.25 x 15" Part # 2331-123-15
You should expect ~36 mph running solo and lightly loaded.
Without seeing many members with their prop/performance reports, I would call Dan's Discount prop and run these two by them. They are well respected by the prop gurus and members here.

Keep in mind prop selection is part science, part art and it takes a bit of effort to get the right setup.

Thanks Phil! Will give them a call. This is my first whaler, but husband had one for his first boat, and now we finally have one! I love this forum, so informative.
