Hi,
Was changing the filter on a Racor fuel/water separator screw on unit like in the pic,
and the clear plastic bowl got seized up.
Had to cut the filter apart and dig out the plastic threaded ring.
Anyone ever try the throwaway SNAPP style?

The Racor SNAPP unit looks like this pic.
I'm usually not a fan of plastic parts in the sun,
and the bracket has a busy look to it,
but the filter seems made for a medium sized outboard. (90hp Yamaha)
Anyway just curious if there's any experience in these.
Thanks!

I've used the Racor 025-RAC-02 on my last 2 boats, and it has worked very well. It is quite compact, measuring only 4.5" high and 2" wide, but passes up to 25GPH and filters down to 10u. It works great on my Suzuki DF140A. It does not have multiple ports for twins of a kicker however.

I second Dennis's recommendation.
My brother has used this style for 20 years in Maine with island gas (fuel barge delivers to small island 2 x year) that is of marginal quality.
