Wondering if information exists as to compatibility of lower units. Looking to see what other years would be a direct bolt on swap for my 1991 two stroke, Yamaha outboard. Original outboard mounted on a 30th Anniversary 17',1991 Montauk. Thank you

The chart on this site doesn't have 90 hp models listed, but you could use it for a comparison as to which models share the same lower unit and go from there. I would suspect the same holds true for the 90 hp of those years as well. I have a 1987 90 ETLH, and would surmise based upon this chart that the 88, 89, 90, etc. years used the same lower unit for the matching models.
