That is fine. No issues.

Mount 2 holes up with a stainless steel prop.

The ETEC 90 on my 1989 is a great match. It uses very little gas and run quiet. I don't have to change crankcase oil so the service interval is 3 years or 300 hours

We don't have the Mercury 100hp in the United States.

The US made Mercury 90 Fourstroke is marketed in non-US countries as the Mercury 100 given the different government measuring and pollution standards.

Hi Philippe and welcome aboard Whaler Central! I took a quick look at your personal page and personal website - your designs are beautiful!

Regarding repowering, the most important thing is to have good support from a local dealer.

When you get a chance, please consider posting more about boating in Switzerland. Pictures would be great too!

Tim

I have a 1999 Montauk with a 100hp 4 stroke Yamaha which weighs 356 pounds so you should be alright.
