Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Quick question, I was working on my Yamaha 300 Hpdi 05 and noticed some water inside the cowling. I was able to find the source and it's a slow leak (drip) at the start of the tell tail hose. I could barley see it so getting to it without help is out of the question. Anyone have any experience changing/fixing this issue. The tell tail is still spraying strong and the cooling system is working but at the end of the day there is salt water inside my cowling and that needs to stop yesterday. I keep her on a jet dock and don't have a trailer so I try to do anything I can before having to take her in. Thanks for any advice.

Sorry nobody responded. I am not a mechanic, without so-much as a picture. If I were to guess how to fix that temporarily, until I could fix it properly, I would use stick epoxy.

You can try squirting some "Salt Away" up the tell tale hose with a large hypodermic needle a number of time to see if that helps due to back pressure. But if that don't work. No matter how you look at it, if you want to fix it you have to get to that connection. If you can't move things out of your way you're going to have to remove the components that prevent you from getting to that connection. once you have the hose removed you can see if there is any build up of salt that is creating a back pressure.
