Is there some amount of time before a tank must be replaced?

Will having the gas polished help?

What are your thoughts on pressure testing?

Dan,

That's like asking how long the Egyptian Pyramids will stay standing.....

There is no set amount of time. Like anything else, some things will last longer than others.
It also has to do with whether or not the boat has been garaged, covered, or left outdoors for long periods of time in the rain...

If it ain't broke, don't fix it....

Keep fuel stabilizer in the tank and keep the tank full, especially over winter. Well, for some of us that have winters anyway.... Less condensation when the tank is full.

Keep the tank area clean under the deck plates. Leave the deck plates off when the boat is not in use and is either in the garage or under rain proof cover....
