I just purchased a 2006 Dauntless 220 with a Verado 225, and love it. Currently has a 4 blade prop on it and want know what the optimum prop would be for the boat. Primary use is bay fishing and beach days with family. I appreciate any suggestions.

Chuck, some additional information will help people help you:

- what do you like and not like about the current prop?
- what is the top speed, and what RPM are you turning?
- are you looking to maximize top speed?
- do you tow skiers, and do you want to do that with the same general use prop, or would you switch over?
- how high is your motor mounted (in which holes)?

On BostonWhaler.com they have archived performance sheets.

Unfortunately, they only list the Dauntless 230 with a 225 Verado.
This may be a good starting point. The test date is 2007.
