Was wondering what you all think of this. One of my daughters named our boat. There is some backstory behind the name - the short of which is that this is what my youngest daughter calls crows and she is fascinated by them.

We are thinking of having it printed fairly large in black (about 4 feet in length). Not sure if it will compete with the BW logo.

I did my best in matching the BW font. I also wanted to make sure I got the "lean" right. I can't believe how many graphic companies and boat restorers out there are out there who do not understand that there is a port and starboard version of the logo.

Does you boat have black or red Whaler Logo decals? I would make the name logo a different color than the whaler logo. Some people might think that was a model of Whaler instead of the name of your boat...with the harpoon and the lettering.

Your boat name Logo probably ought to stand out as a name. Different color or font style or something :) Looks pretty slick though...:)

Thanks - Whaler logo is the proper red color (for the model year).

I did do some mockups where i superimposed in on the boat - looks pretty good.

Here is a link to it superimposed on the boat.

Mike,

I like it a lot although I think it would look better Whaler red. My registration numbers and letters match the Whaler logo font and color and I believe look good.

Mike: Your custom logo looks great. My only suggestion is have the port logo match the Rockland, MA Classic decal appearance with the homeport name placed over the letter M and the harpoon following. Otherwise, your custom decal is more like the post-classic Edgewater, FL. produced "Whaler Boston."

Thanks, good catch - I will contact Magic Brush since they are supplying new Whaler Logos for me. I wonder if their port logo is the classic style.

Great name and logo and I second weatherly's comment of moving the home port above the M on port side.
I probably would reduce the overall size slightly but that is in the beholder.

At Magic Brush we only use classic styles, we have about 80% of the originals...

Ditch the harpoon. It is redundant with the one aft.
Move the town to the bottom of the name and forward

Mohawker
.......City, Ny

I think you should try to have Janis match the color.

Funny, I was just recently looking for a similar bird sticker to put upside down on my fishing skiff after a crowded day on the water. If people got close enough they would see I'm " flipping the bird" at them. Something to consider!:)
