I am planning to convert my katama into a nauset. I know katamas are good boats, but mines missing a lot of origional parts such as the windshield, front seats and others around the console area. Im just wondering what you guys think of my idea, or if yo have any advice for me.:D

Go to EBAY and look at Item # 190138142747 or paste the link below. That may be what you are looking for if you can make arrangements to pick it up.

Whalernut,
I'm finalizing plans and prices to duplicate the original mahogany consoles/pilot seats, etc. for those that want to restore or renovate the older 17's....
I'm in Poughkeepsie...not far from you...
Give me a shout.....

dont want to stop your plans, the best of luck, but I was surprised to find parts for my 70 katama, its actually all stock now, well I sold off the bow rail. I bought front seats from a whaler forum member, windshield from mills canvas. Admit though, my seat and bench came with boat.

either way good luck
