I just got my 1st boat. My great uncle gave me his 1969 16' whaler and I just fixed it all up. I found a 1992 Honda 50 hp 4 stroke that I put on it. Sounds like you're boat goes way faster then mine. I have a prop with 4 blades on it and a few people have told me to get a 3 blade prop. I'm completely new to the boating world so I'm sorry if I'm using wrong terminology but I'd love to hear what prop I should put on my boat. I'm new to this forum and will post up some pictures of my boat soon. I'm pretty stoked on it. I live in San Diego and have been using the boat on SD Bay and out in the ocean.
