Any one no what the compression should be on it. I think its a 1979 or 1980 . it turns real easey by hand been sitting for years think it was last run in 1999. next do the rings stick in them is it worth putting oil down the plugs to try to free them or could a valve be stuck just thinking why it turns so easey

My 3 cylinder evinrude motor is pretty easy to turn over by hand and it runs fine. I think the compression on mine was in 105-110 psi range.

Their isn't going to be a stuck valve because of the way 2 strokes works. I would try getting the motor ruining as is. If it seems ok I would rebuilt the carbs, change he plugs and water pump.

Thank you Dave I sure will try to get her going been sitting for some time and mice got some of the wires if she starts to fire I will buy a service book and do the carbs and pump . Because between this site and the Whaler I have gotten hook on restoring this boat so i will be asking a lot of questions thanks again for the help i,ll check that compression
