Congrats. They are some very nice size fish.
I see your from DC. Do you fish the Potomac river for the Blue cats?

Thanks, I actually live in MD now so I'll update my profile to reflect that. I know it's popular with some folks but Cat fish is not my thing. I've caught a few incidentally from my kayak while fishing for Small Mouth in the middle Potomac above Point of Rocks, fun on light tackle, no idea what species they were though.

RnR I have that same bait well in my Montauk so I'd be interested to see how/where you secured it to the deck. I see it in some pictures and not others so I assume it's removable, mine too. This year I plumbed a 54 qt igloo that serves dual purpose when I'm not live bait fishing so that's gotten more use this year but I keep the round one (Kodiak?) if I'm planning to use bigger baits or lots of them.
In the east they stock a hybrid / tiger muskie, it's a cross between a pike and a muskie. They are rare and although I've had a couple boatside encounters in the local lakes I've never hooked one, yet.

I built a mahogany rear deck years ago and have ran a strap through it around the tank. I did not want any mounts through the deck, because of integrety issues as well as tripping hazard when tank's not installed. The rear deck space is limited and I like it clear/uncluttered as possible for fishing. I wan not able to find any pictures of the install, but may be able to take a few this weekend. We got some rain and that makes me think of sturgeon. The striper are running too. I am using a transom mount pump on removable mount. Overall works well, but with the tank being on the stern, the bait can take a beating in the bay or ocean.

Thanks, I'd be interested to see what you did. I also have the transom mount pump / pickup you describe and I'm very pleased.
When I first installed my (kodiak I think) bait well, I mounted it to the deck using the supplied brackets but with that method it was a permanent install (because of the brackets) and I used that way for about 8 years or so. It was very solid that way but I did have to carefully inspect and repair the screw / mounting brackets in the deck each winter to make sure everything was tight and a few times I found the screws had worked loose. I ended up with what they call the hockey puck method so even if a screw did come loose it wouldn't allow water intrusion and that seemed to work the best. I've since abandoned that approach and filled in the holes.
I'll take some pics of the new system that you might appreciate. It's hard to describe but I've removed the plate/cover to the sump area (screw holes also an issue for water intrusion) and I've used that indent in the deck as the fastening point for the Igloo cooler/bait well platform which holds it very securely in place. I haven't rigged the round bait well to fit in this manner but I'm sure it will work.
ps: once in a blue moon someone catches a sturgeon or halibut in our waters but we do have some great bass fishing.

Yes of course crustaceans count and that’s a fine one at that! I used to live in Boston (Watertown actually) and I’d run my little 13’ Whaler down the Charles through the locks out into Boston Harbor which was a cool ride. I don’t dive as much anymore but I’d definitely be looking over my shoulder with all the GW’s you guys are seeing up there now, that’s a monster.
My home waters are now the Chesapeake and hopefully if this weather clears I’ll be able to go crabbing tomorrow and add some more pix soon.

We camped 5 nights deep in the Everglades over the holidays on my Montauk 17. Major adventure with many snook, snapper, sharks, and tripletails (oh, and mosquitos...) but check out this Goliath we wrestled out of the Mangroves. Way to big to lift out of the water, guestimating close to 200#.
