My Currituck has 50 tohatsu on now but I'm putting a 90 Yamaha 2 stroke on it.

My question is; the top bolts go on good, the bottom bolts do not. They are [not?] coming out of boat splash well. How do I get bolts mounted on bottom?

And what year might this Currituck be?

Please follow the 3 guidelines on the front page and let us know the year, length, and model so we know what you are referring to.

I would guess the Tohasu was bolted on using the blind holes on the bottom?

You need to read and follow this article/chart.

All owners of older model outboards and those mounted using the blind holes have done this.
