Hi,
This is my first post here, as I am looking to become a Boston Whaler owner. A question that I have is, is it possible to tell the year and length of a Whaler by it's Hin?
I am looking at an on-line auction and these details (most important) aren't listed.
Your help is truly appreciated.

Etops,

You can tell the year from the Hull Identification Number (HIN) but not the length.

You can tell the length from the Stencil number if you have that information.

Thanks Joe for the info.
I was mistaken. The Vin # that I got off the web-site was for the trailer. No HIN or Stencil #'s are available. I tried e-mailing the person "in charge" to get them so........we'll see how that goes.
